GUIDED HUNTS:
Group 1: We had 2 elk hunters this week. Both got shots at bulls and we had one 6×6 and one 5×5 missed. One cow was harvested. We were 100% on shots and 50% on kills.
Group 2: We had 5 clients at camp this week. Four out of five had shots and we harvested 1 bull and 1 cow and two bulls were missed. We were 80% on shots and 40% on kills on elk. This group also harvested one bear and the only client with a mule deer tag shot a nice buck in velvet.
Group 3: Third week of elk was another awesome week for close encounters with elk. We had 4 clients and 3 of the 4 got shots at bulls. We had one bull killed. This week we were 75% on shots and 25% of kills.
Group 4: Another awesome week at Fulldraw. We had 4 clients and 3 out of 4 had shots at bulls and 2 bulls were killed. We were 75% on shots and 50% on kills.
Season Summary: We had a total of 15 guided clients this season and harvested 6 elk. We finished up the season 83% on shot opportunities and 41% on kills.
NON GUIDED HUNTS:
Group 1: First week we had 2 elk hunters at one of our drop camps. They saw multiple bulls and also saw bear, mule deer and bobcat. They has some close calls but no shots.
Group 2: We had 2 more elk hunters in camp. They saw multiple bulls and one drew on a nice bull but things didn’t pan out. We had one big 6×6 was bull harvested. We were 50% on shots and 50% on kills.
Group 3: Our 3 hunters were into the elk this week as well. 2 of 3 had shots at bulls and we had 1 bull harvested. We were 66% on shots and 33% on kills.
Group 4: Our 4 hunters in camp this week were into elk everyday. 3 of the 4 had shots but luck wasn’t with them. We were 75% on shots and 0% on kills.
Season Summary: We had 11 non guided hunters this year and harvested 2 elk. We finished the season 73% on shots and 21% on kills.
